Mt. Hopkins RAWS recorded a measured peak gust of 98 mph. No damage was reported from the high winds.

A strong pressure gradient caused windy to high wind conditions across Southeastern Arizona on January 10th and 11th. A Wind Advisory was in effect from 5 PM on the 10th to 2 PM on January 11th in the mountains and from 5 AM to 2 PM Sunday for much of the valleys. The highest observed wind gust was 98 mph in the Santa Rita Mountains from the Mt. Hopkins RAWS on January 10th.
