Scattered tree damage with several measured wind gusts in excess of 58 mph.

Wider weather episode

Strong surface low in Canada between James Bay and the Great Lakes traversed Ontario and Quebec provinces on December 19th. This storm pushed a cold front across NY and VT during the morning hours with strong, gusty and damaging southwest-west winds in excess of 60 mph in several locations in northern VT resulting in damaged trees, utility lines and scattered power outages of up to 25,000 customers.
