SCHP reported trees down along Lockhart and Davis Road due to ice accumulation.

A classic ice storm setup developed across the Midlands of South Carolina January 25th. Cold air damming at the surface and strong overrunning aloft produced light and moderate freezing across the Central Midlands with sleet predominant in the Northern Midlands. The southern Midlands saw a shorter period of freezing rain and rain. Damage was primarily due to tree and limb damage along with associated hazardous and impassable roadways.
