Southerly winds advected warm moist air northward from Arkansas/Tennessee, resulting in dense fog across the Purchase Area and around the lakes in Western Kentucky during the pre-dawn hours through early morning. Daytime heating began to lower RHs below 100%, allowing for slow improvement in visibility by mid-morning.
