Snow and sleet accumulations across the county ranged from 2-3.5 before transitioning to freezing rain. The 911 call center reported a measurement of 0.25 of freezing rain just south of Cambridge, MD.

A southern stream disturbance brought moisture over a very cold low level airmass on January 24 and 25th, 2026. Precipitation began as snow late on January 24 across the region but transitioned to a mix of mostly sleet and some freezing rain as temperatures warmed aloft on the 25th and 26th of January.
