Multiple roads were closed due to downed trees and power lines. These roads included Baldwin Ave at Kee Road, Piiholo Road north of Mahiai Place, and Olinda Road at Piiholo Road intersection.

The wider storm

A cold front moved down the island chain, bringing strong north to northeast winds in its wake. These strong winds brought numerous impacts to the state. Heavy rain also led to landslides and road closures on the Big Island.
