The Dayton airport DAY measured 2.5 inches of snow. A CoCoRaHS observer 2 miles west-northwest of Huber Heights measured 2.2 inches, while another 2 miles east-northeast of Northview measured 1.5 inches.

Wider weather episode

On strong northwest wind, a lake enhanced band of snow fell over an entrenched arctic airmass. This band stretched in a narrow swath from south of Celina to Xenia to south of Chillicothe, with accumulations generally between 1 and 3 inches.
