Frequent wind gusts over 48kt at Granite Island (U-Mich Mesonet) with a peak gust of 53 kt on 1/13 at 2300 EST with the passage of a cold front.

A clipper low passed north of Lake Superior bringing a strong cold front south across the lake. Storm force gusts occurred with the frontal passage.

Began near Marquette (46.7200, -87.4100).
