WYDOT Mesonet stations in eastern Carbon County reported visibility around a quarter mile or less and winds gusting over 40 mph with a snow squall that puhsed through the area. Interstate 80 was closed as a result of the snow squall.

Multiple snow squalls raked across Interstate 80 throughout the day on February 17th. A large pile-up was recorded with one of these squalls.
