2026-01-18 · Webb, Texas
Event narrative
KLRD reported temperatures of 32 degF or less for a least 2 hours.
Wider weather episode
The passage of a very subtle reinforcing front and high pressure settling over the region and gradually progressing eastward through the night, locked in light, variable, but mostly offshore winds for a cool, dry overnight into Sunday morning. This set us up for a chilly night, with light freezes experienced across much of the northern CWA.
