A significant snowstorm struck Washington County, with the highest report of 13.2 inches of snow from Jonesborough. Additional measurements included 11.3 inches of snow in Limestone, 10.5 inches on the Washington side of Unicoi, 9.7 inches in Gray, 9.7 inches of snow in Johnson City.

A couple of long term cooperative weather stations saw top 10 snowfalls during this storm. This storm led to 3 confirmed fatalities in East Tennessee.
