Event narrative

Observer reported an estimated 13 inches of snow in Hauser. Time is based off of Sandpoint Airport weather station. Athol had a range of 4 to 5 inches of snow. Spirit Lake received 5 to 6 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A cold front pushed a band of heavy snow through the North Idaho Panhandle on late January 7. It brought widespread snowfall amounts ranging from 4 to 13 inches. Lookout Pass received 21 inches of new snow for the period January 6 through 8.
