Low pressure and a strong cold front generated high winds in west central Minnesota. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) mesonet station 3 miles west of Odessa recorded a peak wind gust of 65 mph, while the MNDOT station 3 miles west southwest of Graceville recorded a peak wind gust of 64 mph.
