A spotter called in and reported dime-sized hail, with some slightly larger hailstones mixed in.

Wider weather episode

Under an unstable air mass, showers and scattered thunderstorms moved over the forecast area. A few of these thunderstorms became severe enough to produce dime to penny sized hail along with gusty winds.
