What the National Weather Service wrote

Multiple trees and powerlines were blown down across Knoxville by severe thunderstorm winds, with at least one tree falling on a home in East Knoxville.

The wider storm

A cold front helped force a line of showers and weak thunderstorms that crossed from west to east across East Tennessee. Winds aloft were quite strong, and convective transport in the strongest cells helped bring those winds to the surface in the form of convective downdraft gusts, producing damage and high winds.

Began near Knoxville Downtown I (35.9900, -83.8800).
