The Weatherflow site on the south end of Tybee Island measured a peak wind gust of 41 knots.

Scattered clusters of thunderstorms developed across the Atlantic coastal waters in the evening hours and moved into portions of the southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina coast. Several of these thunderstorms became strong enough to produce strong wind gusts.
