RAWS station TT838 Battle Ridge measured a 59 mph gust. An additional sensor that was a public weather station measured gusts in excess of 58 mph 9 miles NE of Bozeman.

Stronger zonal flow and a cold front moving across the region late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning combined to mix stronger winds to the surface across much of the region.
