What the National Weather Service wrote
The AWOS station located at the Mora Municipal Airport observed approximately an hour of light snow. Although, snow accumulations were light, they did make for slippery travel conditions.
The wider storm
A band of freezing rain moved across portions of central and southern MN. Despite ice accumulations accreting to less than a tenth of an inch, travel conditions were very slippery which results to numerous vehicle accidents and spin outs across the region.
