Montana mesonet site Bynum W measured an 85 mph wind gust. Mesonet station SALMT Salmond Ranch and Mesonet station DELMT Dellwo also measured high wind gusts.

Persistent strong winds was in place across the region. A cold front passage combined with rain showers helped mixed these stronger winds to the surface mainly across the Rocky Mountain Front and Little Belts foothills.
