Mesonet station MTTRV Teton River measured a 60 mph wind gust. Montana mesonet site Midway Colony also measured a high wind gust.
The wider storm
Persistent strong winds was in place across the region. A cold front passage combined with rain showers helped mixed these stronger winds to the surface mainly across the Rocky Mountain Front and Little Belts foothills.
