A report from northwest of Oakwood showed that 3 inches of snow fell. Three inches also fell in Moraine and northeast of Centerville. The Dayton airport measured 2.8 inches.

The wider storm

A clipper system crossed southeast through the region during the day, starting near daybreak. Snow quickly tapered off from northwest to southeast during the afternoon, and was banded in nature within the northwest-southeast axis.
