Flynn Prairie RAWS reported strong south to southeast winds with a peak gust of 66 mph. Also, Gold Beach Municipal Airport reported a peak southeast wind of 40 mph with a gust to 59 mph.
The wider storm
A rapidly deepening area of low pressure offshore combined with strong high pressure over the Great Basin brought strong south to southeast winds to Curry County at the southern Oregon coast.
