What the National Weather Service wrote

A metal roof was blown off a home and a few outbuildings were damaged.

The wider storm

A cold front provided lift while marginal atmospheric parameters were in place for scattered severe thunderstorms. The cold front ignited storms near 9 AM in the Missouri Bootheel with CAPE values on the order of 700-1200 J/kg, effective bulk wind shear values of around 30 kts, and mid-level lapse rates around 6-6.5 C/km. These parameters increased during the afternoon with peak heating. Thankfully, the front was clear of the Bootheel, and only a few thunderstorms became severe and produced damaging wind gusts.

Began near Cardwell (36.0500, -90.2900).
