Drought March 24, 2026 – March 31, 2026 · Gibson, Tennessee

What the National Weather Service wrote

D2 Severe Drought conditions returned by the end of the month.

The wider storm

Drought conditions in West Tennessee intensified during March 2026, with much of the region experiencing moderate (D1) to severe (D2) drought due to below-normal precipitation and above-average temperatures. March was exceptionally dry across the state, and this warming, dry trend led to falling streamflow and worsening agricultural conditions in the Mid-South.
