NOAA recorded where this tornado touched down but not where it lifted, so it appears as a point. Other tornadoes recorded nearby that day are shown faint.

What EF0 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF0 is light damage: shingles and siding peeled, gutters torn, branches broken, consistent with estimated gusts of 65–85 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

What the National Weather Service wrote

An OKC television storm chaser observed a brief tornado estimated to be approximately 5 miles east-northeast of Little. No damage was reported.

The wider storm

A deep upper trough, centered across the Four Corners, fostered multiple waves of strong-to-severe convection across the WFO Norman Forecast Area during the morning and early evening of the 6th, and again in the early morning of the 7th. Strong mid-tropospheric flow/wind shear and instability yielded a mix of semi-organized convection, including several supercells, during each storm period. Large hail, damaging wind gusts and a tornado (which occurred during the early evening) were reported.

Began near Little (35.3777, -96.5880).
