LANDSPOUT. Location: 32.89,-101.16/32.88,-101.15. A trained spotter reported a landspout near Fluvanna that lasted about 7 minutes. The starting and ending location of the landspout are estimated from radar, as well as the wind gusts associated with it. No damage was reported.

The wider storm

Pulses in the southwesterly flow aloft once again encouraged thunderstorm development over portions of west Texas. One storm managed to produce a landspout near Fluvanna and half dollar-sized hail in Snyder.
