Snow Squall. A snow squall was observed with the southbound facing Squaw Lake RWIS webcam. Webcam showed quickly reduced visibilities and snow on roads in falling snow.

The wider storm

An area of low pressure tracked along the International Border on the 8th. Strong winds and convective snow showers behind the cold front led to snow squalls across northern Minnesota. Area roadway cameras showed visibility dropping to near zero along with rapidly accumulating snow on the roads during the squalls.
