The wider storm

Low pressure lifted into Lower Michigan and deepened spreading northerly storm force winds through the northern two thirds of the open waters. Gales across the southern third. Northerly winds brought very cold air and freezing spray to the entire lake. Visibility was heavily restricted over the lake as heavy snow moves over all of

the lake with the blizzard conditions.
