Racine ASOS (KRAC) reported multiple peak wind gusts of 43 kt between 0129z and 0153z (04/18).

The wider storm

Widespread severe thunderstorms developed out west and merged into a line as they tracked east across southern WI bringing tornadoes and damaging winds to southeast WI. This line moved out over Lake Michigan through the evening continuing the wind threat.
