NWS Fairbanks upgraded a Winter Storm Watch to a Winter Storm Warning at 1020AKST on April 18, 2026 for the Yukon Delta Coast. On April 18, the AWOS site at Hooper Bay Airport (PAHP) first reported blizzard conditions at 1630AKST, which continued through 2210AKST before subsiding. The AWOS site at Chevak Airport (PAVA) began reporting blizzard conditions at 1856AKST on April 18 and continued to do so through 2342AKST. No fatalities, injuries, or property damage were reported.
