In the afternoon of 4/25, two strong storms both producing severe hail with one producing 2.5 hail. Some severe wind gusts were also reported. A cold front bisected the area and interacted with a shortwave that produced organized convection with low level moisture and deep-layer shear. The shear CAPE available generated numerous reports of severe winds while the steep lapse rates aided in generating severe wind gusts.

Began near Frizell (38.1800, -99.2200).
