The funnel dropped from the south west edge of the storm. Was clean and wide for about 5 minutes, then became ropy before disappearing.

The wider storm

A severe thunderstorm tracked across northern Denver and nearby suburbs producing hail up to 1.75 inch in diameter. Additional severe thunderstorms brought hail up to 2 inch in diameter to the eastern Colorado plains.

Began near Louviers (39.4900, -104.9300).
