The wider storm

A weakening line of thunderstorms moving northeast over East Central CO produced an outflow boundary that rushed east ahead of the storm activity into Kansas. This boundary broke a healthy tree limb in Goodland. As the weakening thunderstorms moved northeast into Kansas they produced wind gusts up to 76 MPH, the highest gust occurring at St. Francis. Northwest of St. Francis these storms produced dust storm conditions.
