What the National Weather Service wrote

Broadcast media reported on social media that Higuera creek between Barrio Palomas and Barrio Dona Elena is out of its banks. Based on radar estimates between 3 to 4.5 inches of rain had fallen at the time of the report.

The wider storm

The islands remained under a moist and unstable weather pattern during the last week of the month. This pattern was supported by light to moderate winds blowing from the south-southeast and a moisture surge moving over the area. This pattern enhanced afternoon convection (showers and t-storms), with various reports received on April 27 and 28.

Began near Comerio (18.2504, -66.2310).
