What the National Weather Service wrote
A member of the public shared video on social media showing municipal employees clearing the landslide from both lanes of Road 164 in front of Xtra Colmado Cintron in Naranjito. Radar estimates indicated approximately 4 to 5 inches of rain had fell in the area, affecting traffic in both directions.
The wider storm
The islands remained under a moist and unstable weather pattern during the last week of the month. This pattern was supported by light to moderate winds blowing from the south-southeast and a moisture surge moving over the area. This pattern enhanced afternoon convection (showers and t-storms), with various reports received on April 27 and 28.
