What the National Weather Service wrote

An NWS storm survey revealed storm damage due to severe thunderstorm winds in eastern Hockley County. Siding and metal roofing was peeled back on a couple of buildings north of Ropesville.

The wider storm

Warmer and much drier conditions emerged on the afternoon of the seventh. However, one isolated thunderstorm was able to develop over eastern Hockley County. This thunderstorm was short lived but produced severe winds as it collapsed. An NWS storm survey was conducted which revealed damage to a couple of buildings in eastern Hockley County north of Ropesville.
