Emergency management reported that Davilla Ave at Scarborough St, the 1900 block of CR 446, and FM 908 at Beverley Dr were flooded and closed in the city of Rockdale. High water was also reported near the intersection of Highway 79 and Childress Dr in Rockdale.

Over Mother's Day weekend, a slow-moving cold front triggered scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across North and Central Texas. The majority of these storms occurred on Mother's Day (May 10), with many reaching severe levels and large hail becoming the most frequent report. Hail up to 4.5 was reported in Hamilton County.
