What the National Weather Service wrote

Mesonet station OFFG1 3.2 SW Screven measured 2.06 inches of rain in the past hour.

The wider storm

A frontal boundary stalled over southeast Georgia on May 29th and gradually dissipated through May 31st as it meandered southward to the Florida-Georgia border. Deep moisture (PWATs 2+ inches) combined with the frontal boundary and passing shortwaves aloft continued a numerous to widespread shower and thunderstorm pattern each day. Convection was focused along the frontal boundary especially for inland locations from Waycross northward. Light northwesterly steering flow behind the boundary and abundant moisture led to slow-moving downpours.

Began near Offerman (31.4500, -82.0500).
