The mesonet station XMAPV Minneapolis Shoal Lighthouse recorded north to northwest wind gusts in excess of 55 mph from 1:25 PM to 1:40 PM and then again at 3:05 PM, with the peak gust being 57 mph.
The wider storm
On the 6th, a weak disturbance moving through the region brought a period of north to northwest storm force gusts to the northern Bay of Green Bay.
