The KPDT ASOS measured a 59 mph gust at 1347 PDT on the 22nd. The Mesonet Station OD191 measured a 58 mph gust at 1121 PDT on April 22nd.

Pressure gradients across the region tightened in response to an approaching closed low to the region. This resulted in isolated strong winds being reported across portions of the Columbia Basin and Blue Mountain foothills.
