What the National Weather Service wrote

A tree blew down onto State Route 93 and Old State Route 75 near the Old Ford Garage and Old High School track.

The wider storm

A low pressure system lifted a warm front through the area as it travelled out of the Central Plains and into the Ohio Valley on the night of June 21st into the morning of the 22nd. A cold front was then dragged across the Middle Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians as the parent system continued onward towards the Mid-Atlantic coast from the 22nd into the morning of the 23rd.

A band of precipitation moved into southeast Ohio on the night of the 21st and then continued east across the Ohio River early on the morning of the 22nd. Isolated to scattered showers and a few strong thunderstorms continued to progress across the area during the day, then precipitation tapered off following the frontal passage late in the day. Showers and storms generally produced pockets of one to one and a half inches of rain accumulation, however training storms did lead to a strip of two to three inches in eastern Washington County.

Began near Elk Fork (39.2984, -82.4669).
