What the National Weather Service wrote

Hail fell and the information reported indicated hailstones were about the size of a soda can, which appeared to be slightly less wide than the top of the can. This was estimated to be two inches in diameter.

The wider storm

Showers and thunderstorms affected the combined Panhandles each afternoon and evening in the early parts of June. With enough moisture, instability and sources to provide atmospheric lift, these storms were able to become severe each day and bring large hail to the region. A few instances of damaging winds and flooding also occurred.

Began near Morse (36.1346, -101.4025).
