The US-89 at MP 254 South Manti mesonet station recorded a wind gust of 64 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

A largely cutoff shortwave low ejected through Utah late in June, resulting in isolated instances of severe wind gusts associated with convection.
