The wider storm

Scattered thunderstorms developed along an outflow boundary well ahead of a slow-moving cold front during the early morning of May 16th. Later in the morning, a collapsing shower resulted in downburst winds of around 80mph and widespread damage across western parts of Jacksonville in Morgan County.
