Thunderstorms produced heavy rain that led to flooding. Several roads around Karnes City were flooded including CR 344, Hwy 123, and Hwy 181.

Thunderstorms developed in the vicinity of a stationary front, and some of these storms produced large hail and damaging wind gusts.
