As a result of this abundant, widespread heavy rainfall, severe (D2) drought conditions across portions of Carroll, Madison, Crawford, and Franklin Counties improved to abnormally dry (D0) drought conditions or better by the end of the month. Monetary damage estimates as a result of the drought were not available.
