Other sites across Grand Forks County from NDAWN observed low temperatures from 28 to 31. The official NWS COOP site within the Grand Fork city limits observed a low temperature of 32.

Unseasonably cold temperatures developed during the growing season across eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota, with hard freeze conditions observed at some locations during the morning hours before sunrise. The 2026 Spring growing season officially began at 12am on May 9.
