The wider storm

A frontal boundary dropping southward on the 19th of June, combined with both weak upper level support with a mid level trough of low pressure and remnant moisture from Post Tropical Cyclone Arthur moving across the area from the Gulf Coast, resulted in widespread showers and thunderstorms across the JAX CWA. Isolated thunderstorm damage occurred, however the primary impacts to the region was areas of flooding due to very heavy rainfall.
