Charlton county 911 call center reported trees and powerlines down near Jenni Court and El Terrace north of Folkston. Time estimated from radar imagery.

The wider storm

Atlantic high pressure ridge axis remained over the eastern Gulf, central FL and into the western Atlantic maintaining a moist west-southwest low level flow for the area. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms developed each afternoon along the sea breezes with the strongest activity along boundary mergers. A weak cool front gradually moved southward through the area on Tuesday with a weak prefrontal trough from southwest to northeast over the region. Deeper moisture plume coincided with the frontal boundary with the strongest storms along the sea breeze and frontal interactions.
