The wider storm

A coastal trough combined with the daily seabreeze and a second inland trough to produce multiple rounds of shower and thunderstorm activity through the day and into the evening hours on June twenty-seventh. With ample instability and deep layer shear in place some of these thunderstorms became strong to severe in nature bringing a strong and damaging wind threat to the waters mainly north of the Crystal Coast.
